2014 Synergy Conference Draws 600+. That’s a lot of Synergy.

The combined PAR/OSDA (Professionals, Advocates, Resources/Ohio Self Determination Association) conference this month amped-up the synergy among stakeholders throughout Ohio’s developmental disabilities community. In addition to excellent presentations such as, “The Employment First Imperative,” by Allan Bergman, annual ESDY awards and other honors were presented. See them on the OSDA Facebook page.

Patrick Stephan Honored (Left) Steve Oster presented former DODD Deputy Director Patrick Stephan with a coveted Award of Excellence, honoring him for his efforts in helping to move the statewide DD system forward. As noted in Pipeline, September 3, 2014, Stephan moved this month from his role in the DODD Division of Medicaid Development and Administration, to the Ohio Department of Medicaid.
